Registration Policies

Register on or before 27 August 2025 to take advantage of reduced registration rates. All attendees will receive event materials and a Certificate of Attendance.

Refund Policy: Requests for refunds of registration fees must be made in writing to SQA Headquarters, and must be faxed, e-mailed or postmarked by the dates below to receive the refund indicated for those dates. Refunds do not apply to travel expenses.

  • Through 27 August 2025: 100% refund minus a $55.00 processing charge
  • 28 August through 2 September 2025: 75% refund minus a $55.00 processing charge
  • 3 September through 10 September 2025: 50% refund minus a $55.00 processing charge
  • After 10 September 2025: No refunds
     

Discount Policy. A $100.00 discount is available for attendees who register for two or more courses. If your initial registration contains only one course and you select the discount option, you must register for another course or be billed $100.00. If, after you have registered for multiple courses and received the $100.00 discount, your registration is modified to include only one course, $100.00 will be added to the refund processing fee. If, after you have registered for multiple courses and received the $100.00 discount, you make the decision to send substitute(s) to one or more courses such that each party involved is only attending one course, $100.00 will be added to the total substitution fees.

Substitution Policy: If, after you have registered, you find that you are unable to attend these events, you may send a substitute in your place. Each substitution registration will be charged a $55.00 processing fee. If you registered prior to the Early registration cut-off date of 27 August 2025, your substitution(s) will not be charged the higher Regular rates. However, if you are an SQA member paying member rates and your substitution is a non-member, they must pay the difference between Member and Non-member rates or submit an application for membership in SQA.

Course Change Policy: If you have registered for a Quality College session and would like to attend a different session, you may change your registration. Each session change made after 10 September 2025 will be charged the applicable difference in price plus a $55 processing fee.

Inability to Attend Due to an Emergency: Attendees who are unable to attend an event based on a serious emergency may receive a partial refund (total registration fees minus a $55.00 processing charge) or full credit for a future SQA event in the following instances:

  • Personal illness or death of the attendee;
  • Illness or death in the immediate family of the attendee;
  • Natural or man-made disaster that personally affects the attendee (at the discretion of the event planning committee); or
  • Any other extenuating circumstance (which may be reviewed on an individual basis at the discretion of event planning committee).

Requestors shall submit the request in writing to SQA Headquarters along with written documentation. The event planning committee shall review the request to ensure it is in accordance with written policy.

Returned Check Policy: Remittance must be made in U.S. dollars. A $25.00 surcharge may be assessed to cover any collection fees.
