This course, brought to you by the SQA Learning Foundation, is for everyone who wishes to learn more about negotiation, improve their own negotiation skills, and achieve better negotiation outcomes not by chance, but by designing an approach suitable for the negotiation at hand.
We all negotiate whether we realize it or not and whether we like it or not. The aim of the course is to dispel fear to negotiate and equip the audience with the knowledge of basic theory, provide examples, case studies, and practice opportunities, and offer strategies and tips to negotiate successfully.
It is delivered on-demand, at your convenience, in 4 modules. Each module will deliver information to you, let you self-assess your knowledge with review questions interspersed throughout the module, and will culminate with a quiz at the end of each module. You will be able to access the course certificate after completing all of the modules, passing the quizzes with a 70% average or higher, and submitting the course evaluation.
Modules
- Module 1: Introduction: covers the basics – the “what, why, and with whom”
- Module 2: Negotiation Essentials: focuses on basic negotiation concepts, styles, and skills
- Module 3: Application: discuss seven examples of business negotiation
- Module 4: Conclusion: wrap up, provides top five negotiation strategies and tips for improving negotiation skills
RQAP re-registration credit: 3.5 non-GCP or non-GLP units for completion of all 4 modules.
